In celebration of the February 8, 2011 release of You Again on Blu-ray and DVD, we have this fun Q&A with Kristen Bell, one of the stars of the movie.

Q: What was it like playing the unattractive unpopular girl? (at least the teenage version of your character).
A: “It was awesome because pretty girls aren’t funny. They’re not, it’s just a fact. And they are usually not very interesting. Sorry, pretty girls.”

Q: What made the role particularly interesting?
A: “Playing Marni was fun for me because the part involved wearing prosthetics, which I like. I had to look unattractive with acne, which I enjoyed as a character actress. I actually wanted to go much further playing this high school acne-prone adolescent and I was pulled back (laughs). I wanted whiteheads on all the centers of my zits because I thought that would look realistic. I had very bad skin as a young teenager, everybody did, you don’t know what to do and you’re applying hot compresses. It’s real and it’s funny. But they definitely pulled me back for Marni. They said ‘no, I think that’s enough acne.’ I also wanted her to look hunched, because when you’re timid and paranoid about being bullied, your body kind of freezes, and so a lot of kids go through high school really slumped over.”

Last night was the premiere of Kristen Bell’s newest film, “You Again”, in Los Angeles. I have added 461 HQ and MQ photos of Kristen at the premiere red carpet and after party – she looks so amazing!

Yahoo! Movies has debuted a new clip from “You Again”, sharing how uncomfortable Kristen Bell’s Marni when she has to encounter her old rival again. This is worsened when her mother, played by Jamie Lee Curtis, does the cheerleading move with Joanna, who is no other than her brother’s girlfriend.

Successful PR pro Marni heads home for her older brother’s wedding and discovers that he’s marrying her high school arch nemesis, who’s conveniently forgotten their problematic past. Then the bride’s jet-setting aunt bursts in and Marni’s not-so-jet-setting mom comes face to face with her own high school rival. The claws come out and old wounds are opened in this crazy comedy that proves that not all rivalries are forever.

Odette Yustman stars as Joanna, while Sigourney Weaver portrays Joanna’s aunt. Joining the cast ensemble is veteran actress Betty White who is cast as Grandma Bunny. This Andy Fickman-directed film will arrive in U.S. cinemas on September 24.

It’s rare that a female-helmed comedy includes so much awesome physical humor as well as a star-studded cast, but the upcoming ‘You Again’ has both in spades.

As if Betty White’s hilarious presence weren’t enough, the film, about a young woman who returns home for her brother’s wedding to find he’s marrying her high school nemesis, features Jamie Lee Curtis vs. Sigourney Weaver in a decades-old rivalry and puts the lovable Kristen Bell back on the big screen.

In this exclusive behind-the-scenes clip, you see Bell’s character, Marni, as a nerdy high schooler being tormented by Odette Yustman’s popular cheerleader. Cut to years later, when a now-successful and beautiful Marni returns home to her worst nightmare. Meanwhile, her mother (played by Curtis) is facing Marni’s nemesis’ aunt — her own ex-friend from high school, played by Weaver.

Confused yet? Director Andy Fickman handles all this female talent, on top of Broadway veterans Kristin Chenoweth and the family patriarch played by Victor Garber.

“I think it’s only downhill from here,” Bell says in the clip. “Because now I’ve worked with Betty White.”
